I run Flashcloud, a founder owned managed WordPress hosting company. It hosts, secures, and maintains WordPress sites so the people who own them can get on with their business. That is where most of my week goes.
The rest goes here. I am writing more than I have in years, and enjoying it.
Building
Flashcloud, day to day. Right now that means better onboarding and making our support even faster to reach. Founder owned, still no outside owners.
Writing
A short series on what founder ownership actually changes for a hosting customer. Drafts land in the essays, then go out to the letter first.
Reading
Working through a stack on company building and staying independent. The ones that stick end up on the bookshelf.
Away from the desk
Trying to read on paper, walk more, and answer email in one calm pass a day rather than all day.
